Our apartment is in a recently converted 1870s Victorian school in the heart of the Ancoats conservation area of Manchester city centre. Ancoats was recently listed by The Times as one of the top 20 coolest places to live in Britain, with upmarket grocery stores, trendy restaurants and beautiful outdoor spaces. Ancoats is next to the Northern Quarter, (another happening area in Manchester) and our apartment is only a short walk to the main city centre shops, cinemas and theatres.
